X2 Producer display mystery

While I am a longtime user of Cakewalk, I'm still kinda new to X2 Producer. I can't seem to find out what the numbers that are displayed in the track view are. They don't appear until play or record starts. All tracks are MIDI and there is no SysEx or controller changes in the code. Anybody have any ideas? I can't seem to find mention of them in Scott's book. Thanks - Bill

Correction: Track 24 is a recently recorded audio track.

Max dB. Like a visual peak meter that shows the highest peak.

This is the synth audio output, not MIDI.
