Vocal Magic Plugins??

Yo Folks,

I'm not sure if what i'm looking for is called a harmonizer, i think it is...

I want a plugin that takes a track (ie vocal) and compairs it to one or more other tracks (ie, guitar/bass) and pitch shifts and plays with the first track (vocal) to make it sit/fit better with the other tracks (guitar/bass).

Anything like that out there? Or any plugin's that you think are a must have for Vocal tracking?

There have been a couple of posts on here about this i think, but no one has givin' any specifics, just resources where to find lots of plugin's...

Hi, Mofracky. If I'm reading your question correctly, yes -- the plug-in you're looking for would be considered a harmonizer. However, I've never used one and don't have any real suggestions for you. I hear the brand name Antares dropped quite a bit regarding vocal harmony effects, but don't know much more than that.

I've found http://www.thedirectxfiles.com and interesting site to find out more about plug-in effects -- there are even some available for free download. Sorry I couldn't be more help.
