Sonar X1 Essential

Officially, it's not supported:

It doesn't appear there are many X1 users anymore, likely the result of the tempting upgrade pricing Cakewalk has offered over the past couple years. Only one decent thread on their support forum regarding this, and no one indicated they're successful using X1 and Windows 10.

Windows 10 with Sonar X1 | Cakewalk Forums

I'm using X3 and staying with it for a long time, perhaps until the bitter end along with my very functional Windows 7.

OK Guys I bit the bullet and bought X2. Working a treat apart from reason 3. Doesn't seem to want to see it in the vsti scan. Any advice ?

No idea...I googled it and all I found was that Reason is a DAW so I'm not sure how you would add a DAW inside a DAW.

Cakewalk has several soft synths, certainly one of them can play those soundfonts for you(?).
