How to apply Amplitube to entire track on sonar?

Hi all, I have a very simple question,

How can i apply Amplitube vst to an entire audio track so that everything i record already is already recorded with the processed guitar sound? I can only do it after i record each take, by right clicking the sound wave and applying the plugin, but that takes a lot of time.

I'm using sonar v8.5

Thanks!

I don't use Sonar, but most DAWs will allow you to load a VST as an effect on the track itself.

Or as an inserted plugin.

I am not familiar with Sonar either, but it would seem odd that any DAW would require you to 'apply' a plugin. Most have that option but not useful for what you are doing.

You may need to hit the manual for this man.

Also moving it to the 'Sonar' forum. More likely direct help there.

Best to ya! :)

See if this LINK helps.

You basically want to use the Amplitude as an insert. So everything you record to that track has the effect on it.

Hopefully your computer can handle it without too much latency...

Hey all thanks for the help. I found the solution in other forum. it seems you have to drag the bin to the right of the volume controls and the FX option will appear.

You can view/edit all of your Fx bins in one go if you use Console View. (or as many tracks as your monitor can display)
