DirectX 8.1?

I tried to install Sonar on another computer of mine and it says I gotta install DirectX 8.1 first. After it says installation complete, I restart the comp and try installing Sonar again, the same message pops up, "DirectX 8.1 needed"..........

Went to MS and downloaded the newest DirectX 9. something, and I still can't install Sonar.

What's going on??

This has to be in the CakewalkFAQ...




But then of course people need to read it. :D
