I have recently had my fingers burned with an SR-16 (not literally!) that I got off ebay. It would not save any rhythms I had made. I sent it back, pretty sure that it was the internal battery which had died. However before I buy another, probably new this time, I just want to have it confirmed that the SR-16 can save diy rhythms to its internal memory (and not just to a cassette!). The manual seemed quite vague on the saving side of things and I don't want to get another one and find I can't save anything.
