power supplies for midiverbII/MicroverbIII

LemonTree

Suck 'em and see!
Just bought a microverbIII and a midiverbII from ebay....no power supplies......can I use any regular 9V wall wart for these? Anyone using either unit able to tell me the Va output or the Mw output would be a great help thanks

Alec

The Midiverb II uses the Alesis P2, part #7-40-0902 for $19.99 from Alesis.

The Microverb III uses the Alesis P3, part #7-40-0903 for $19.99 from Alesis.

They are both 10VAC at 7.5 VA, but have slightly different end-plugs.

You can get two P3s from Musician's Friend for $12.95 each and just put a different sized end on one of them for the Midiverb II (Recommended).

Don't use a DC power supply or you'll fry the units.

You can call Alesis parts in USA at 310-301-9563 or email to parts@alesis.com

As long as you match the volts, a/c vs/dc and match or exceed the va rating, you might find it at the local RadioShackQuickieMart.
If they have the multi-plug ends it might save you a 32ga wire solder session.:)
