Has anyone used the Alesis masterlink? Is it better than just using Sony Soundforge 7.0 for mastering?

It's an excellent unit... is it "better" than Sound Forge with CD Architect? It depends on the situation... I use both for different applications......... but the Masterlink is my mixdown machine.

Personally I try not to remember my days with dats and cassetes
and it was only about two or three years ago.
The master link is great for sending home a copy of your current mixes and it is nice to be able to add volume and trim the songs.
but as Blue Bear said it does all depend on your needs and the situation.
