Help!Dose anybody know if ALESIS MultiMix 8USB(1.1) works on Windows 7 64bit?

I am pretty new to the forum and I have an urgent question - I am about to buy a new laptop which would be Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit. But I am just afraid of that my ALESIS MultiMix 8 USB(1.1) won't work with windown 7 and 64bit. Anybody have such experience? Any comments will be appreciated..:)
 
I am pretty sure there is a firmware update that will make your usb1.1 into a usb2.0 There are drivers for windows 64 bit, they may be labelled vista, but Alesis says they work fine on WIN7
