Alesis QS6 drivers not working for win2k

I've had my Alesis qs6 for a while and it worked on my old 95 machine, but the drivers just arn't compatable for windows 2000. I've searched around and can't find updated drivers anywhere. Can anybody help connect my alesis to my computer. thanks

Look here - apparently Alesis has halted development of the interface (perhaps considering it obsolete) but a similar interface - developed by Edirol - should be compatible...

regards, Nils

PS I've yet to find any use for the serial interface since migrating to Win2k...

o.k. the driver is installed, but I'm still unable to communicate with the alesis. Do I have to delete any other drivers, and if so is that a good Idea since I don't really have access to a Win2k CD? I guess it could also be the cable.

Dont use the serial connection. Get a MIDI interface.

I've been using a Midisport USB 2x2 for several years now with my QS8.1 with no problem.
