Alesis Adat to CD

I don't own an ADAT,but I know there is more than one way; Alesis makes a PC card that allows transfer of all 8 tracks to a computer for editing,I think it's called the ADAT Edit.Several brands of digital mixers have optional add-on input modules that accept the output of the ADAT,which you can then mix and send out the S/PDIF output to either a stand alone or PC based CD burner.Cheers!

I have a pc with a cd burner on board and the standard adaptec cd software. Once you get the audio on your hard drive and saved as a wave file you can then burn it to a cd.
I have already done this with cassette tapes.
I am pretty sure you can patch in a turntable and save albums as cd's.

Either run the ADAT thru an analog mixer and mix it to a stereo pair into the computer and make CDs from the resulting wave or get a sound card with ADAT lightpipe inputs and make a digital transfer.

There are most certainly alot of ways to skin this cat - but as a reminder save the file as a 44k file to avoid conversion on down the pike.
