Hello everyone,
I got a Alesis 3630 recently for the sidechain distinctive sound.
However, I do not manage to apply the good cable connection.
I describe my setup and how its linked together already :
Ableton live sync (as master)
Korg electribe Sampler
Mackie ms1202 mixer
Focusrite 6i6
I made a schema to show the initial setup : http://www.hostpic.org/images/1610232329110134.jpg
So I can compress the sound from my electribe. But didnt manage to use the sidechain.
It would be principally on a bass/kick.
I saw a example of connection on the net :
- Synth Output to 3630 Input A
- Drum machine/Kick Output to 3630 "Side-Chain" Input A (the one in the middle)
- 3630 Output A to mixer
That make sense, but is there a way with an electribe without separate output for the kick?
I tried to get cable : output focusrite to sidechain alesis with a kick playing on ableton, but it doesnt seem to work neither.
Thanks for your help!
