I have a Carvin Mixer, and was thinking of purchasing the Alesis AI-3, to sit between my Mac, and the board. My thinking is I will be able to run each channel out of the board via the insert for that channel, into the analog ins on the AI-3, and ADAT out into the Mac...to record each channel to a seperate track.
My question is....can this be done, and what sound card and software should I get? (budget, yet decent)
