What do you all think about the MPC 4000????

i'ma get one on the low... i'm not payin $3500 for it, but i like it, it has some nice features not to mention 512mb of pc133 ram...until i canget hooked up the mpc2000xl will work perfect

i think ima roll wit da 2000xl for awhile, maybe until i can find a used 4000 for the low(so it might be awhile)

holla

It's mine

Jus as soon as it drops. 1 mo week and it's mine.

Yo I got da 3000 righ and I was sayin to myxelf, "XELF u want dat piece, u wanna know why? cause in reality a 60 gig hard drive built in, the ability to sample while the sequence is runnin, graphic editing, up ta like 30 minutes of samplin, resamplin capabilities, everything responds very quick, built in cd burner, 4 midi outs, not jus a MPC but a real sampler is wha u been askin fo, fo da longest.

I also thought about gettin a computer an some software sampler dat could do all dat but and I mean A BIG OL BOOTY, u cant carry dat shit around wit u like the MPC 4000 BABY.

You can have shit as clean and 24 bit as u wanna or u can dirty up da sound by changin the sample rate (somethin I cant do wit my MPC3000, along wit the otha shit up top I jus ran off).

Oh my GOD, way mo filters and if u a true MPC head den u kno da 2 note variation sliders iz da shit along wit 4 q link knobs I have no idea wha da fuck is, but it sounds good ta me.

I gotta talk about da fact dat it automatically finds empty pads ta place samples, mind u it has 6 banks, so we talkin 96 sounds runnin, and also run multiple programs, while streamin from hard disk ( all dis talk is gettin me a HARD DISK).

I could go on but I'm drained like I dun had sex in dis biotch.

SO YALL KNOW ITS MINE IN 1 WEEK, anyone wanna buy a MPC3000 gimmie a holla at skitzoish@msn.com. I'm in chicago and would love for someone in da city ta take it offa my hands and help me pay for dis expensive azz piece.......LOL

GODBLESS

Also.................
What happened to you yesterday, XELF?

I thought we were going to work on that track, Mechanical Melodies.

i personally think it's too much in one box... i'd never use half of it... i'm gonna get the rs7000, it also samples while the sequencer is running and while the sequencer is running a full scale track, you can extract patterns from it, change thm, and put them back in... did someone say "live" .. i know i did ;)

But does it have a 60 gig hard drive? Does it support multisampled instruments? Can it take 256MB RAM?
