Hi everyone. I've been using Reaper for a few years now, but ever since I can remember, I can't get the idea of being a Live user out of my head. I play mostly solo acoustic stuff, and once in a while I will use some bass and drum tracks behind it. Is Ableton Live a practical choice for me, or should I just stick with what I have now? I do realize that Live is capable of far, far more than my needs, so is it overkill? Just want some opinions. Also, are there many using Live for strictly audio recording? Thanks!

I do loads of audio recording in Live....its still a great tool for it

Theres no reason not to use live strictly in the traditional sense of a daw, it just offers other options.
