Hi there,
I have ableton live 6 and logic 8. The only reason i now have logic 8 is because when i got my friends imac, it came with his logic 8 on there.
When the track is finished and your at it the mix down stage (not the actual creating/arrangement of the track) will i find that logic 8 will do a much better job of getting a much better mix before i send away for professional mixing and or mastering?
Or is ableton just as capable?
I assume it is because many big producers out there do everything (creating/mixing/mastering) with ableton correct?
I ask this because if ableton is just as capable of giving me really good results, then i will sell my imac with logic and spend all that money on the best possible mic preamp and studio microphone!
Thanks!
