If that's what you wanted to do, you should have said so ... hell, just shut the monitors off when you don't want 'em. Use a swtiched power strip for the monitor power mains. Whatever floats yer boat. Not the way I'd do it, since you can't easily and quickly make A/B comparisons.Thanks for your reply.

Thanks. Well that is what i said lol.
Its just a pain having to keep getting up and turning my monitors on and off when i want and dont, want them.
Seems to me a simple stereo A/B switch (like this .. Sescom Sescom SES-AUDIO-AB RCA Stereo Audio MP3 iPod FLAC WMA A/B Switch Audio Switchers at Markertek.com ) would work to kill/activate the monitor circuit.
