Recording time: cubase le5

I did a recording of my band practice but the recording stopped at some point so I didn't get the whole practice in. Because if my set up I just hit record and let it run. Is the some type of time parameters I'm supposed to set? Thanks.

Yeah, sorry I forget where it is, but there is a parameter for how long Cubase will run. I believe the default is one hour. Look in "preferences" or "project setup"

It may also be that Cubase LE5 limits that time limit. It has been a while since I had that installed.

Hello,

That can be found in Project > Project Setup > Length.
By default it is set to 10 hours... so I don't think that is the problem.

Cubase LE 5 does not have a time limit.

I think the problem might be, either you are running out of disk space or out of ram, or something is running in the back ground interrupting the session.

On what operating system are you, are you using a USB audio interface?
Under certain circumstances it can happen that the "USB Selective Suspend" option in the Windows 7 and Windows 8 "Power Options" can have a negative effect on connected USB devices.
