Putting Nectar 2 harmonies on separate track in cubase 5?

Hi guys,

I have nectar 2 and trying out the harmony function on it which is not bad.

However I want to put the harmonies only on a different track other than on the main vocal track, so as to gain more control, add harmonies to only specific parts of main vocal etc.

I realise that it may be possible to do this through automation read/write but just wondering if its possible to have harmonies only on a separate track of its own in Cubase 5?

Other than melodyne or Nectar does anyone use any other software for harmonies?

I have heard of Waves Tune, but not sure it does harmonies per say.

Melodyne seems to be your best bet. I have the full version myself. Have used it to create harmonies, but keep in mind that any fake of a harmony vocal is likely to sound fake if used up front. I have had good results on some songs, and less than poor on others. It really depends on the music style and what else is going on when you add them.
