Hi,
I own a Roland VS-2000. I have a project with 8 tracks, and I'd like to dump them to a CD, but as 8 separate tracks. How do I do this? Thanks.

If you can grab each track and paste it to the end of one track creating a chain, put in your track separators then you can just dump that to the CD and it will automatically create 8 individuals.

Or you can do a write to CD, choose just one track at a time but do not finalize the CD. After you have written each track individually, finalize the CD.

I'm assuming that you're wanting your 8 separate tracks as wave files to either mix in a DAW or send to another deck etc.

I have a 2480 but I'm going to assume you have a 'track export' item under your Mastering menu...

This will take a while but it works.

Barring that, you can make a backup to CD and then use your computer and a free program called VS2Wave to pull the tracks from the backup as separate wave files and burn them to CD

Hope this helps :)
