Quick (ie dumb) question!

Been doing some demos with my guitarist and he got a tascam 8-track. We got the vegas 9.0 software to produce the tracks as wav files. On my Roland VS-890, tho, its a great machine but older and has no USB (like his Tascam).

What's the best way to get dry vocal tracks I do at home on the VS-890 to the computer to save as wav files?

Yeah, I did get the burner. You're saying I have to burn through CDs to transfer 'em to the cpu? Isn't there some adaptor I could get and go into the cpu that way?

It also has a cpu-ish SCSI output.

You might be able to hook up a SCSI zip drive or something similar you'd have to get a zip drive for the target PC too. That's what I did with my old sampler.

I don't think you can hook directly to a computer with the SCSI port unless you have a SCSI card with a hard drive attached.

Maybe a SCSI card reader? http://www.scsiforsamplers.com/
