HELP!!! Boss BR 1600

My Boss Br 1600 seems to be brokwen and im wondering can sokeone identify the problem.... its simple really, i turn it on and the lights blink once and it goes off again! Theres nothing i can try as it wont turn on can someone help me please and ill be forever grateful!!!

Could it be the power supply? On mine, both the DC cord and the input on the recorder have bad connections after years of use. Try to move the cord around with the machine on and see if that makes a difference. You may just need a new adaptor.
