BR-600: how can I delete chat/fiddling intro's?

Hello,

I made a demo with my band. The first 10 seconds contains a lot of talking and count off. How can I delete that and start the zero point with the music? I hoped it would help when I bounce and master a song from the moment the music starts (with "LOCATOR" on) and even with that "scrub" and that "erase" crap but it just leaves a gap of 10 second silence in the intro. Do I make any sense? :confused:

You've got to think of using the BR600 as if it were a real tape machine. How would you get rid of 10 seconds of chatter at the beginning of a tape? You wouldn't be able to, save taping silence over it or physically cutting the tape.

You've already taped silence over it. Your other option is to export the track to your computer and use some software to "cut" the tape (ie: the sound/silence) at the beginning.
