Not strictly ProTools info, but PT 11 is the reason the manufacturers are making AAX plugs, as far as I know, so I thought I'd update y'all.

All the advertising said that your product would have to be covered by WUP to be able to get the AAX release.
Turns out that's not quite true.

If you already have a Waves version 9 product, the AAX download is free.
The download and installation takes about a minute, literally....It's just one AAX file.

Wait, Waves is finally done with AAX too? They were the last plug-in company whose plug-ins I own that made me wait on PT11. I can finally enjoy offline bouncing and the new metering and 64-bit engine and all!
