Is it possible to transfer audio from a different DAW to this one and vice-versa?

So I got a MIDI keyboard today that came with Ableton Live Lite. Normally I wouldn't even look at Live Lite, but it can run VST and AU plugins. This excites me a lot, since now I get to try lots of awesome free VST plugins (and whatever good free AU plugins there are out there). However, I'm curious if there's a way to transfer existing audio from Live Lite into Pro Tools. Could this happen?
