My band has been recording all 4 of us at once recently. Im trying to use flex time but its trying to align everything to the metronome. How do I resolve this bug?

Don't use the quantize function if you want to Flex Time your tracks manually. Even better yet, look into beat mapping and create your own metronome that follows the unique tempo of your song. (I'm guessing you didn't record to a click.) Then you can use the quantization function.

Well it shouldn't quantize automatically unless you specifically used the quantize drop-down menu where you had to select a time setting (1/4, 1/8, 1/12, etc). Can you tell me the steps you took to enable Flex Time?

So when you selected your Flex Time mode, it just automatically aligned everything to the metronome?

That was the problem but I realized it was just with one logic file. The problem is not occuring on any other file so I'm fine now. Thanks for your help though!
