    Hello All.

I am wondering if there is some setting somewhere within Reaper that can be toggled so one can see the changes to the wave form after an effect has been applied. I believe that when i was experimenting with DAW's, Nuendo did something like that. May have also been Sonar? For sure it was some DAW that if, for instance, i applied some compression to a vocal track, the actual wave form image on the screen would change to reflect the applied compression on the peaks and stuff?

Anyone know if reaper can do this?

When I've done stuff I often look at the chart in ReaperEQ (which I put at the end of the chain) to see what's happening to the wav form as it progresses - not exactly what you're looking for I know.

Hi, you could try freeze track up to last effect, see the diff,, then unfreeze track!,,, there's probably loads of ways to do it in REAPER (there always is!) this is just ONE!
I started out with nothing, & i've still got most of it left seasick steve
