    What does that mean, exactly?

Will X2 work in Pro or not? I imagine some of the audio features won't have the full resolution offered by 64-bit but is that the main area of impact?

According to the system requirements list X2 will only work in Windows 7 and later a Windows 8 patch will be available.

OS architecture and audio data word length are independent.

What it means is that it should run ok on XP, but if it doesn't, then tech support won't be able to help you as they haven't tested it on XP
