Exporting Audio in Sonar X1 (file will not play in any media player)

Hi All,

I'm exporting my latest track to wav. I'm having serious problems and I'm not sure what's causing it. Once the file is exported, I try to open it in Windows Media Player and it says a problem occurred and that it cannot play the file. I've also tried VLC Media Player and while it doesn't give me an error, it won't play any audio.

I have tried with wav and mp3, nogo either way. I've also tried turning off the 64 bit engine, nogo. I've tried renaming the exported file with a .wav extension or .mp3, nogo. In wav I am exporting at 24 bit and 88.2. With mp3 I'm exporting at 16 bit and 44.1. Nothing is working. Any ideas?

Nogo with that either. I found a solution on a Sonar 8 thread. For some reason, sometimes when Sonar is installed, it messes with the playback of audio files in media players. I transferred the file to my laptop and it works fine. Very strange. If anyone knows how to rectify this on my studio computer it would be great to hear how.
