specific SR 16 Question ....

Desperation !!!!

Hello SR 16 owners and experts,

i often work with the "Step mode" for making nice drum patterns.
Now, when i am ready for step mode and press play , it says
strangely " OUTA MEM DUDE "
what the heck means that, what can i do ??

Yo Alf:

I'm going to guess that it means, OUT OF MEMORY. I used to use the SR16 but have replaced it with a Boss 770 -- great little drum box.

I've programmed the SR16 with like 24 bar patterns but never ran into the OUT OF MEMORY notice.

So, if your box isn't whacked out for some reason, maybe you've got too much stored? Then, you should consult the manual or go on line and ask a techie at Tascam or someone on this forum.

i'm sure, i do not have stored to much yet, have still free pattern-place.
Could be some battery down or what ??
