2 MultiMixes on a Mac?

I have a MulitiMix8FW that I use on a Mac G4. I really like it and would like to get another so I can have more XLR inputs. Alesis says that "the multiMix does not support running muliple Multimixes at this time". Has anyone tried this with a Mac using the aggregate set up. How about using the MultiMix in combination with any other interface?

Im running two multimix12fw on my pc just fine, but when I saw your post decided
to try them on my G4 running 10.4.11 and no go.
could only see one at a time.
