i know a lot of people that use the rs7000 now. most people use MPC's or the rs7000. the rs7000 has a slight edge on the MPC most people say. my uncle just got a rs7000, and he has always used a mpc....

Well I'm a MPC 3000 user, and I've tried the yamaha products mentioned, but none of them made me want one... That said I have to give credit to Emu/Ensoniq's MP-7. I'd take that machine over the yamaha products. Regardless I'll still sequence everything on my MPC.

i prefer the yamaha cause of the extra effects, the live tweaking and the awm2 synth engine which is way better than any module i've heard yet.. yamahas awm2 is really great, but i haven't seen a new soundmodule like the proteus or something like it with the new awm2... they should go make some..
    the sampler is also killer..
