Windows MCI Driver & VST/24

Since installing VST/24,when I go to open
Adaptec easy CD Creator I get a message saying.
"Easy CD Creator can not create audio or
mixed mode discs,or work with WAV files since
the windows MCI sound driver is not loaded.
Please install this driver via the windows
control panel"
Question is how ? If anyone could be a bit
more specific, it would be greatly appreciated.

Alan,

I think what it wants you to do is:

Control Panel, Add Remove Programs.

Select the Windows Setup at the top.

Look for the Multimedia section. It should be fully checkmarked. But, just to be safe, I would uncheck the box, hit ok. Reboot, go back again to control panal/add remove programs, windows setup, check the multimedia box fully. Hit OK. You will more than likely need your Win95/98 disk at this point.
