What is needed for a classic DJ setup?

Hi I am starting my career as a DJ. Damn, I just watched Juice. In the movie, one of the main characters, Q is a DJ. What he does is so awesome and sick. What is that that he's using? Just a big set of turntables with a mixer?
 
Yep that's all he got...it is just a matter of time and very soon you will be playing like a pro i guess...so just be patient and practice as much as you can so that no stone is unturned in learning.
