To start: I have (had) - Alesis multimix8 USB, HP computer 16 mg, bla bla
My USB mixer burnt up....:rolleyes:
My question is what do it take to change over from USB to standard mixer to my computer .

How many tracks do you record off your mixer at the same time?
 
Why are you using a mixer at all? What's its purpose? Do you have this mixer or are you thinking of buying it because your other one died? If you have it, what is it?

Ask better questions is the first thing....
