What if you play 'em in another player (eg. Winamp, etc...) ?

To ensure it can be played on any available media player, you need to save / export it as 16 bit RIFF wave format (or 128kBit 44.1kHz MP3). Otherwise (higher than that) could causes media won't play the wave (in some case) :)

...BTW, welcome to the BBS... :)

I just did a quick search and found this . It sounds as though you aren't saving it in a format that can be played by Windows Media Player. As Jaymz said, Broadcast or RIFF Wav at 16bit/44.1Khz. Or encoded it in mp3 format (and K bit/sec) should play.

was indeed audio file bit depth causing the problem.

Bit Rate

Check the bit rate of the wav file. If it is higher than 1411 there may be a problem playing the wav file.
