Sonar X1 Producer Expanded (Also quick question on midi)

Really, what all does the expanded do? I've read about it on CakeWalks web site. Will it really improve sound with the added modules?

As far as the midi ?'s.. I've been messing with the step sequencer, tried using a midi controller to add drums to a recording, when I played it back, all the midi notes were all bunched up, no spaces in between drum beats, know what I mean? Just jammed up. Any way I haven't messed with it in a few days, I need a real drummer.

Yes, I'm pretty impressed with the Expanded modules...

As far as I understand it's just Softube's modules integrated, so it won't make no difference unless you choose to use them - which goes for any plug-in.
