I'm sure that this has been covered but after searching I'm still lost.

I have like 200 ms latency when i choose the input monitor option. yeah, really noticable. simple question: How do I fix it? Sorry for asking such a common question, but I hope some one can help.
Ive tried increasing the buffer, adjusting the latency correction slider, etc.
 
exactly which software andf version are ou using? NOT THAT ICAN HELP . . just wondering . . . i had that problem and fixed it with the latency and buffering settings . . hmmmm. . .
 
I think you'll always get very slight latency if you monitor through the software because of the Sample buffer. I don't think you can set it to zero samples in the buffer settings

If you want true zero latency monitoring you can usually do that through your audio interface (assuming you're using one) but you can't monitor effects in realtime that way becausein this scenario the sound is routed to your headphones before it goes to the software.
