Problems with audacity

The people at the Audacity help forum either have no clue or they don't care. The AUP files have changed to .mo files and I need to recover the missing AUP files. If anybody knows what to do in this situation please let me know. You can see the problem in the attachment.

It appears .mo files are related to language and translation.

Try pressing the Windows Key, then typing a filename with it's .aup extension - see if it pops up with a folder location.

Did you try renaming the files to have .aup extensions again? (You might need turn off the "hide extensions for known file types" option in your windows settings)

What happens when you open one of these files with Audacity?
