Problem with Acid Pro 7

On acid pro 7 i recently selected to scan the whole c drive for vst plugins and now everytime i open up acid pro it scans the whole C drive and takes about 30 minutes! then when it actually opens it just freezes and hangs up, does anyone know how to stop this? i already tried deleting everything acid pro put in my computer.

Open up ACID and reset the folders it scans (usually in the preferences)

Put a folder on your drive (I use c:/vsts), set it to scan that and only put in there what you want to use.
