considering that on another famous website there are PCBs you can have made or even make yourself including full BOS and plans AND FORUM-based public domain support in the form of the guys who build these things all the time... I'd look at that other website if you want a DIY thing.
Iv'e built my own 1176ln compressors.... they're kickass... mine cost way less than the prices you're talkinga bout here for these projects.... so maybe just be cautious about drip electronics compared to the general DIY websites that are also pretty damned helpful.
