I'm considering buying a Primera Bravo II combo CD duplicator/printer in order to knock out small batches of CD's as needed in my home project studio rather than send out projects to a pro duplicating service. Has anyone here had any experience with this machine? Is there a wholesale source I can buy it from to get the best price? I've seen as low as $1,250.00 (new) seaching the web. Also, I know that standard blank CDR's occasionally will not play on certain players, usually older ones. So the follow-up question is, what would be the best blank media to use with this machine? And where to buy said media in quantity for a reasonable price? Any advice appreciated.
 
I've seen a CD printed with one of these. I don't know anything about the circumstances behind it, but it didn't look very good. It was okay, but the stuff I've done with my Epson R400 looks a lot better.
 
We use the Primera CD printers at my work, and they're pretty good. The best media to use is the Taiyo Yuden printable CD's.
