Pop Rock Track - Dreaming

A bedroom studio recording of an original song from a few years back. Recently had a go at resurrecting it and doing a new mix. Any ideas, advice or criticism would be amazing...
 
Sounds great, that's a very loud master at about 3/4 thru the synths are pushing too hard for my taste and its borderline harsh. As far as ideas, the song is about dreaming so I hear some falsetto harmonies as a variation to the lead vocal. Overall its a stellar recording for a home recording.
