"Over My Head" Cover

Hi all,

Working on a cover of "Over My Head" by King's X one of my favourite songs of all time. Here is what I have so far - still some work to do and a solo to add. Mix critique welcome before I continue:

I'm listening on phones. Every instrument clearly has it's own space - well defined. And a great bass sound as well as nicely played.

I thought the guitars sound good. I think the bass sounds good too.

The vocal sounds a little boxy to my ear. Lacking a little high end and kind of strong around 1Khz or so.

I think the snare could have a little more brightness. It sounds OK, but just a little high end boost might be nice. The OH's are really loud in the mix and they're a little hissy. Kick is a little low in the mix, but just by a bit.

Performances were all really good.
