Hi everyone,
I'm Dan, I use Cubase 5 to mix and master.
I just wanted to ask for any tips when using this software by anyone who is familiar with Cubase 5.
I generally use the presets, with a bit of tweaking if something stands out: so far I can normalise, noise reduction, gate for vocals, EQ, Compression, Limiter & Mastering preset with Maximiser and Mulitband Compressor on the final mix.
The only problem I have had when doing this, is I listened, after advice, to my mix on a cheap mp3 player and the vocals distorted slightly?
Any tips would be welcome, I'm not that versed in the software.
