Hi all, I need some help here - I'm a jazz drummer with a very light touch, trying to replicate that style with a midi pad controller and a really good set of samples, and I'm looking for a small-footprint midi drum pad controller where I can control the velocity sensitivity. Basically there are times when I want to be able to barely touch the pad but have it still register, just at an extremely low velocity. I don't want to have to mash down on the pad for it to register as a note. I had an original Korg nanopad that I loved, but they don't make them anymore and several of the pads have now died on me. The nanopad 2, I have to hit at least twice as hard to get it to register, and it rarely comes in at lower than 30 velocity. What do you all use? Would you recommend it to a player like me?
