I've finally gotten all of the other issues worked out with my new system, now just trying to bridge the gap from SX3 to 7.5. I've got a ton of old projects saved over from SX3 and, when I open them up, it reverts the in/out settings to my old interface so I have to manually change them to the new one to be able to hear them. Cubase 'knows' that the new interface is the one to use, and uses the saffire ASIO drivers, is there a way to make it automatically route the I/O of the old projects through the saffire instead of reverting to what it used when it was saved originally? I haven't ever hooked up the old interface to this system, nor have I installed the Tascam drivers; just curious as to why it recognizes them.
I've opened up a few old projects and had to change the I/O device and assign everything to the saffire. If I do that, save, and then open it back up I have to go through the process again of making the saffire the playback channel.
