Hi, I know the E2 has jumpers I just need to know ...does anybody know where they're located? are they just behind the back panel or are they deep inside of the unit?, etc... is it in mentioned in the service manual or user manual somewhere?
I've got a really sweet Fostex E2, and want to try 30ips...
[MY DECK: fully rebuilt... all new capacitors (Nichicon fine gold and Muse series and wima film and Nichicon KG series in power supply), all new resistors Dale Vishay in general areas & takkman REY carbon film in signal path, new Toshiba transistors, new Diodes, fully cleaned, oiled and lubricated w/fresh grease, heads at about 90 percent , .Recondition rubber rollers,etc.... Cost a shit ton to get done, but should last...hopefully. Measured before mod Thd+N just under 1%@1khz SNR 15ips 69dB Measured after mods, THD+N with test tape at 0.2853%@1khz SNR 15ips 74.6dB upgraded parts improved performance by quite a bit!!!]
