Fruity Loops will crash when using two copies of DSK Brass VST

After a sabbatical period I am getting back to recording and just bumped to this issue. At the moment I am working on a project where I use the free VST "DSK Brass" and as soon as I add a second copy of it FL goes crazy and crashes.

I'd like to know if someone else has experienced the same issue and if there is known fix / workaround?

PS: It's not the first time it happens to me. I have had this same issue in the past with a different PC / Windows version either with DSK Brass as well with a couple other VSTs.
 
I've got a few DSK VSTs that I use from time to time. DSK Brass and DSK Overture I try to avoid unless I really need to use them. Their use can result in Reaper crashing occasionally.
