Formatting 160GB disk took 21hrs

I recently acquired a used VF80 locally & installed a spare 7200rpm WD drive replacing the original 20BG HDD. It formatted down to 138GB.

Just getting used to the functions & controls.

Exporting 4min song on tracks 1-8 to an SD card in a Cakewalk VS100 (the only device I have with coax input) is labourious as well. Not tried importing the tracks into Cakewalk by Bandstand yet.
 
There were no bad sectors. I've just assumed that the Fostex system had a top level for formatting. Others had suggested it was 120GB/140GB.
